Govind Raita / Dahi Vada Masala

RAITA, a yogurt (curd) based condiment made with either raw or cooked vegetables or even boondi (made with fried droplets of chickpea flour or besan), seasonal fruits are also popularly used. It is found in almost every household, be it in North India, South India, Eastern India or Western India. In our household, it is served every day in lunch and sometimes even dinner.

Govind Raita /Dahi Vada masala is a multipurpose spice mix, you can also use it as chat masala to make fruit chats and add in salads and can also use as sandwich masala to make Mumbai style tomato and cucumber sandwich. Add in any yogurt preparation or add in your shikanji, soda or lemonade and Dahi Vada.
